is it possible that if you started with a trial, liked the game enough that you bought it, and used the same account to get the game.

would the trial char be usable on the full game?

like if i made a trial account.. then used the full game access key to add to that, would my trial char be able to recontinue in the full game?

Yeah, everything is just locked until you add the appropriate access key to your account.

One more thing to note. If your trial char was made in Factions and your buy the NF retail version, your trial char will remain locked until you buy Factions as well.
